1. Cut idle travel (rapid traverse)
Head moves between contours add no value. AI resequences cuts by nest layout to shorten total travel and reduce head up/down cycles.
2. Common-line cutting
Adjacent parts share one cut line — a single pass finishes both edges, reducing total cut length and pierces. The effect is dramatic on thin-sheet volume work.
3. Piercing strategy & micro-joints
- Progressive piercing on thick plate reduces spatter and pierce time
- Micro-joints hold parts to prevent tip-ups and head crashes, cutting downtime
4. Fly-cutting & data feedback
Arrays of small holes are done on-the-fly without stopping; each batch real parameters feed back into the library so the next same part number auto-applies the best recipe.
